Six Characters in Search of A Play was a very interesting play. I liked that it really breaks away from politics, religion, etc and is simply a play for the sake of being a play (as far as I read into it). I cannot say that I loved the ending, it didn't really leave me with any deep questions or thoughts. It left me a little shocked and frustrated if anything. Pirandello initially considered drama "an impoverished medium" when compared with the novel. I almost felt if the manager had wasted a day with these actors, I had just wasted an hour reading about them and becoming invested in the play. It is definitely one of those plays that I'm not quite sure if I really like or really hate.
